Applicability of natural ventilation in a railway station in hot summer and cold winter area

Taking a railway station in Nanjing as example, using the software Visual ESP- r, simulates the dynamic annual indoor temperature of the main function zones such as the waiting room and passenger distribution hall with natural ventilation in design conditions. Compares the result with the data obtained by thermal comfort standards under natural ventilation conditions to determine the hours when the natural ventilation is effective in the railway station and analyses whether the air conditioning time can be shortened by using natural ventilation. Then optimizes the building construction to analyse its effect on natural ventilation hours.
